The Rock

Daca poti mirosi ceea ce The Rock gateste, atunci esti fara indoiala familiar cu superstarul de wrestling Dwayne Johnson. Dupa cucerirea lumii cu acest sport, Johnson decide sa cucereasca si Hollywood-ul.
Imbarcat din Miami, Florida, Johnson devine cea de-a treia generatie wrestling, dupa un salt de la fotbalul profesionist la wrestling-ul profesionist insa o situatie neprevazuta ii naruie aspiratiile. Dupa debutul sau in actorie, in Saturday Night Live, That ’70s Show (in care a jucat rolul tatalui sau) si The Net, The Rock a debutat in film cu o aparitie in The Mummy Returns (2001), in rolul temutului rege Scorpion. Se intoarce in anul urmator cu acelasi rol in The Scorpion King.

Ashton Kutcher

Christopher Ashton Kutcher s-a nascut pe 7 februarie 1978 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Copilaria si-a petrecut-o la o ferma, alaturi de parinti, sora mai mare Tausha si de fratele sau geaman Michael, care a venit pe lume la 5 minute diferenta de Ashton.
Parintii lui, Larry si Diane, au divortat pe cand Ashton avea 13 ani. Cam prin aceeasi perioada fratele lui a trebuit sa faca un transplant de inima. Operatia a decurs bine. Totusi, evenimentul a tulburat viata lui Ashton si mai tarziu el s-a inscris la cursurile Universitatii din Iowa, unde a studiat ingineria biochimica in speranta de a gasi o cale de a-i ajuta pe cei cu afectiuni cardiace.
La varsta de 15 ani s-a mutat impreuna cu fratii, mama lui si viitorul ei al doilea sot, in Homestead, Iowa – o comunitate relativ mica de fermieri. La liceu, Ashton a fost foarte bun la sport, dar in acelasi timp si-a dezvoltat un mare interes pentru teatru. Debutul si l-a facut la scoala in piesa “The Crying Princess and the Golden Goose.”
Kutcher a lucrat o vreme ca om de serviciu inainte de a fi “descoperit” de un impresar artistic in 1997. Acesta i-a propus sa participe la un concurs numit Fresh Faces of Iowa. Ashton a acceptat si a castigat competitia, obtinand o calatorie la New York la finala concursului International Model and Talent Agency.
La scurt timp el a semnat un contract cu o agentie, ajungand sa calatoreasca in toata lumea participand la sedinte foto si la diverse spectacole. Ambitia lui Kutcher i-a adus acestuia un rol intr-o reclama la Pizza Hut, intr-un scurt metraj studentesc intitulat Distance, si reclame pentru Calvin Klein si Versace.
In 1998 a decis sa mearga mai departe. A participat la diverse auditii, obtinand in cele din urma un rol in serialul That 70’s Show. Aspirand tot mai sus, Ashton si-a facut debutul si pe marile ecrane. Primele roluri au fost in comedia Down to You/ Indragostiti… ca la 16 ani, filmul de actiune Reindeer Games/ Cacealmaua Incornoratilor.
In 2000 apare in comedia Dude, Where’s My Car?/ Bai, care mi-ai sutit masina?. Filmul, desi simplist, este un succes extraordinar, acesta fiind primul film major din cariera lui Ashton.
Westernul modern Texas Rangers/ Cavalerii Texasului, apare in 2001.
Dupa 2 ani de pauza, in 2003 revine cu 3 filme: Cheaper by the Dozen/ Cu duzina e mai ieftin!, Just Married/ Tineri insuratei si My Boss’s Daughter/ Amor cu fiica sefului meu, comedia regizata de David Zucker, care se dovedeste a fi un esec.
In 2004 apare in filmul de succes The Butterfly Effect/ Zbor de fluture, un thriller SF de exceptie.
In 2005 joaca in alte 2 filme de succes: Guess Who/ Ia ghici, cine?, remake-ul comediei din 1967 Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner si A Lot Like Love/ Din prea multa dragoste, o comedie romantica unde joaca alaturi de Amanda Peet.
In 2006 il vom vedea in alte 2 filme: Open Season (un film de animatie unde va “juca cu vocea”) si The Guardian unde va aparea si Kevin Costner.
Din 2003 realizeaza pentru MTV emisiunea Punk’d, un show-camera ascunsa pentru vedete, unde diverse staruri sunt pacalite.
Kutcher, care-si imparte viata intre New York si Los Angeles, are o relatie din 2003 cu fosta sotie a lui Bruce Willis, actrita Demi Moore. Relatia lor a starnit valuri, ea fiind cu 16 ani mai in varsta decat el.
